The Christmas party was excellent as usual and here we are at New Years week again, 2011 just flew by!

Make your Resolution to spend more time having FUN for 2012 especially at OTX!
Christmas has passed and now we're all looking forward to welcoming in 2012. This year is dedicated to the philosphy "Bring a friend and have Twice the FUN."
R/C is one of those hobby / sports where sharing the thrill is the best way to enjoy the experience more than you can by yourself. Whether you have a picture perfect flight and three point landing, or a miserable midair collision or fiery crash, it's better when viewed through the eyes of others and shared.
With the rain coming down outside and colder weather in the predictions, it's building time again. Let us know what Santa brought you to fly next year, or tell us what you're building / repairing to bring out in the spring. Now is a time for preparation and reflection. 2012 will come without any assistance, but what we make of it is totally up to us and our imaginations. I'm building another Combat plane - I've missed our little folly's of flight with the streamers. Let's bring it back and have some excitement again!
We've got some new members coming in to the club both for airplanes and helicopters. Let's make them feel welcome and see how many more we can get involved. Keeping something this much fun to ourselves is criminal - bring a friend and share the FUN.
